We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team at Recruitment Room. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality financial services to our clients, including preparing year-end engagements and tax returns, performing audits, and building strong relationships with clients.

Your Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced accountant to take on a leadership role and contribute to the growth and success of our organization. You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of clients, develop your skills and expertise, and participate in business development initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare year-end engagements and tax returns for clients in a variety of industries
  • Perform audits and prepare working papers and financial statements in accordance with regulatory standards
  • Build strong relationships with clients and respond to their requests and suggestions
  • Participate in business development initiatives and identify new business opportunities with existing clients
  • Communicate effectively with team members regarding progress updates and issues
  • Engage in training staff and invest in their professional development
Your Experience and Education
  • Hold a CPA designation or be in the process of completing it
  • Have 23 years of audit experience in the public accounting industry
  • Have a strong interest in working with non-profit organizations and a desire to develop further knowledge in this area
  • Value teamwork, client service, and quality in detailed work
  • Display strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
