About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Developer to join our team at Aitchison College of Technology & Health Sciences Inc. as a Web Developer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with clients to design and develop web applications that meet their requirements.
  • Write, modify, and integrate software code to ensure seamless functionality.
  • Maintain existing computer programs by making modifications as needed.
  • Develop and implement web-based solutions using a variety of software tools and technologies.
  • Communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Conduct research and evaluate new software products and technologies to stay up-to-date with industry trends.
  • Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams to develop web applications, graphics, and content.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in software development, preferably in a web development role.
  • Strong understanding of software development principles, including design patterns and testing methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with web development frameworks and technologies, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React.
  • Knowledge of database management systems and data modeling.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems.
  • Strong understanding of security principles and best practices.
