Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Taxi Driver to join our team at Bridge City Cabs Ltd. As a Taxi Driver, you will be responsible for providing safe and efficient transportation services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a taxi vehicle to transport passengers to their desired destinations
  • Ensure the vehicle is clean and well-maintained at all times
  • Provide excellent customer service and handle passenger complaints in a professional manner
  • Collect fares and process transactions accurately
  • Assist passengers with luggage and provide basic tourist information
  • Perform routine vehicle maintenance and servicing
  • Meet and greet clients at designated pickup points
Requirements
  • Class 4/4F/F/4A-B-C Licence (ambulances, emergency vehicles and buses with fewer than 24 passengers)
  • Municipal taxi driver permit
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliability and punctuality
  • Basic knowledge of local roads and transportation systems
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends. The role involves sitting for extended periods and requires the ability to distinguish between colours.
