Electrical Services Technician

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Services Technician to join our team at Northern Dock Systems. As a key member of our Electrical Services Department, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems, as well as planning installations from blueprints and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and repair electrical systems, including conduits and wiring
  • Plan installations from blueprints and specifications
  • Diagnose faults in electrical components
  • Measure, cut, thread, bend, and assemble conduits and other electrical conductor raceways
  • Splice and terminate electrical conductors
  • Load side electrical connections and low voltage wiring
  • Installation of electrical conduits, including watertight, EMT, flex, BX, and rigid
Requirements:
  • At least 2-4 years of electrical experience, with experience working with overhead doors/docks a strong asset
  • 309A or 442A and 309A license required
  • Sound mechanical and electrical knowledge
  • Ability to operate a boom truck
  • Valid driver's license with clean abstract and criminal reference check
  • Basic computer knowledge
