The Métis Nation British Columbia is seeking a highly skilled Justice Policy Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in providing intersectional, trauma-informed research and analysis on justice issues impacting Métis people.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct detailed research and analyze policy developments related to Métis justice
- Make recommendations for legislative actions, programs, awareness campaigns, and funding approaches
- Participate in committees and project teams to ensure Métis voices and experiences are integrated into all reports, research, and recommendations
- Collaborate closely with team members to drive innovative solutions and advance justice for Métis people
To be successful in this role, you will have a strong background in policy analysis, research, and community engagement. You will be able to work independently and as part of a dynamic team, and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
