Job Title: Early Childhood Educator

We are seeking a qualified Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Îlot Câlin. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a vital role in supporting the development of young children, promoting their physical, cognitive, emotional, and social growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that cater to the diverse needs of children, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
  • Lead engaging activities, such as storytelling, singing, and outings, to stimulate children's curiosity and creativity.
  • Encourage children to express themselves through various forms of art, music, and physical activity.
  • Assist children in developing essential life skills, including eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
  • Monitor children's progress, identifying potential learning or behavioral issues, and collaborate with parents and guardians to address these concerns.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with colleagues and community service providers to ensure a collaborative approach to childcare.
  • Maintain a clean, healthy, and safe environment that promotes children's well-being.
Requirements:
  • College or CEGEP diploma in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
  • At least 7 months of experience in a childcare setting or equivalent.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • First aid and CPR certification.
