Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Critical Facilities Infrastructure Technician to join our operations team. As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the uninterrupted operation of our data centers, hospitals, laboratories, and public safety centers.
Responsibilities:
- Perform repairs, corrective maintenance, and routine installations of critical facility infrastructure, with a primary focus on HVAC systems.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with HVAC systems, electrical components, and mechanical equipment.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance tasks to identify and address potential issues before they escalate.
- Collaborate with team members to develop and implement effective maintenance strategies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work performed, parts used, and equipment condition.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems to continuously improve your skills and knowledge.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Journeyman HVAC certification; technical HVAC certifications or training in HVAC preferred.
- Proven experience in HVAC maintenance and repair, with a strong understanding of HVAC systems and components.
- Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, with a willingness to learn and grow in these areas.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to effectively manage maintenance tasks and documentation.
- Flexibility to work on-call or during off-hours as needed to address emergency situations or critical maintenance needs.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces.
