About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Developer to join our team at OMIKAN TECHNOLOGIES INC. as a key member of our software development team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Software Development
    • Design, develop, and test software applications for e-commerce and other Internet-based systems.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize software development projects.
    • Develop and maintain software code, ensuring high-quality, efficient, and scalable solutions.
  • Technical Support
    • Provide technical support to internal stakeholders and external clients, resolving software-related issues and concerns.
    • Collaborate with clients to understand their software needs and develop customized solutions.
  • Research and Evaluation
    • Research and evaluate various software products, technologies, and trends to stay up-to-date with industry developments.
    • Assess the feasibility and potential impact of new software technologies and tools on our business.
  • Documentation and Communication
    • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including user manuals, guides, and other resources.
    • Communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clear and concise understanding of software-related concepts.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in software development, preferably in e-commerce or Internet-based systems.
  • Skills
    • Proficiency in programming languages, such as Visual Basic.
    • Experience with MAC, Extranet, Intranet, and Internet technologies.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Work Environment

As a Software Developer at OMIKAN TECHNOLOGIES INC., you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks. You will be required to sit for extended periods, with occasional standing and walking.
