We are seeking a skilled Baker to join our team at Arbutus West Enterprises Ltd o/a Tim Hortons. As a Baker, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of breads, pastries, and other baked goods for our customers.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will have a strong background in baking and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for following recipes, operating bakery equipment, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Responsibilities:- Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, and other baked goods
- Follow recipes and production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products
- Operate bakery equipment, including mixers, ovens, and proofers
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including adhering to health and safety regulations
- Work effectively in a team environment to meet production demands
- 1-2 years of experience in a bakery or related field
- Strong background in baking and pastry arts
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production demands
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
