The Role: Professional Liability Underwriter
As a Professional Liability Underwriter, you will play a crucial role in assessing and managing risk within our E+O, D&O, and Cyber lines of business. You will collaborate closely with brokers to develop customized insurance solutions for their clients, ensuring that we underwrite the right risks.
Your Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough underwriting reviews of professional liability applications, evaluating risk factors and determining appropriate coverage terms.
- Collaborate with brokers to understand client needs and provide expert guidance on insurance options.
- Work closely with internal teams, including Corporate Underwriting, Actuarial Pricing, and Claims, to ensure seamless operations and accurate risk assessment.
- Maintain strong relationships with brokers, fostering trust and providing exceptional customer service.
Your Qualifications:
- 1-5 years of experience in professional liability underwriting, preferably within E+O, D&O, and Cyber lines.
- Completed or pursuing relevant designations such as CIP, FCIP, or RPLU.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with brokers and clients.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
