Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Stockperson/Cartpusher to join our team at Walmart Canada. As a Stockperson/Cartpusher, you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe and efficient shopping environment by collecting and returning shopping carts to designated storage locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and return shopping carts from cart corrals, parking lots, and store perimeters to designated storage locations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to requests at all registers and assisting customers with carry-outs or carry-ins.
  • Perform occasional cleaning and maintenance of restrooms, handling chemicals, and following correct disposal procedures.
  • Adhere to safety and emergency procedures, ensuring guidelines are followed properly for hazardous communications, lockout/tagout, and blood-borne pathogens.
  • Maintain Cart Retrieval Log at Customer Service Desk.
  • Contribute to a safe, clean, and hazard-free work environment through adherence to Company policy and procedures.
  • Promote safety by wearing personal protective equipment, including steel-toe footwear and reflective vests during cart collection.
  • Complete safety sweeps as required.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and customer service skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will also need to be physically able to lift and move shopping carts and other equipment.
