About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Systems Analyst to join our team at Recipe Unlimited Corporation. As a key member of our Restaurant Systems team, you will be responsible for maintaining, updating, and launching local and national brand programs through various systems, including Point of Sale (POS), back office systems, e-commerce, and aggregator platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement changes and updates submitted by brand teams through a Request for Change (RFC)
  • Assist brands with the implementation of marketing initiatives, including coupons and discounts
  • Perform changes in POS, inventory, e-commerce, and 3rd party platforms
  • Maintain and improve end-user interaction for all systems
  • Conduct comprehensive POS testing with brand representatives
  • Conduct detailed inventory testing with brand representatives, including confirming recipe details, inventory, and supplier items
  • Conduct thorough e-commerce testing with brand representatives, including validating price, images, and menu item descriptions
  • Review and manage upcoming requests for changes and updates
  • Ensure that requests are feasible and provide alternative solutions for initiatives that may not be feasible with the current systems
  • Discuss ideas and solutions for future projects and initiatives
  • Work in conjunction with the Project Management team on Recipe and brand-specific projects intended to improve the system and support techniques relating to the restaurant
  • Work as a first-level escalation point for the service desk on back and front of house POS issues involving menu items, price, and print locations
  • Work as a first-level escalation point for the service desk on inventory issues
  • Support the service desk with Restaurant Systems-related issues
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education is considered an asset
  • Working knowledge of Windows environments
  • Data accuracy and verification
  • Experience with Point of Sale (POS) technology
  • Minimum 2 years of restaurant experience as a General Manager or Assistant General Manager
  • Good working knowledge of G-Suite
  • Prior experience or general knowledge with inventory systems
  • An appreciation of wider business demands
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to work under pressure
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly understand complex systems
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including strong verbal, written communication skills, customer service skills, and excellent listening skills
