About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painter to join our team at Gur Professional Painting Ltd.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted, ensuring a smooth finish.
  • Repair cracks and holes in walls and ceilings to create a seamless look.
  • Mix paint to the desired color and texture, taking into account the specific requirements of each project.
  • Measure, cut, and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls, creating a visually appealing design.
  • Advise clients on colors and choice of wall coverings, providing expert recommendations.
  • Erect scaffolding and swing stages, and attach rigging to ensure safe access to high areas.
  • Apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces, meeting the highest standards of quality.
  • Estimate costs and materials for each project, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Work Environment

As a Painter at Gur Professional Painting Ltd., you will work in a variety of locations, including residential and commercial settings. You will be exposed to outdoor environments, heights, and odors, and will be required to work at heights and in confined spaces.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to distinguish between colors and create a visually appealing design.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Flexibility, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
