We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cashier to join our team at Snakland Inc. as a permanent employee.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a cash register, processing payments, and providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate a cash register and process transactions accurately and efficiently
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional manner
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the cash wrap and surrounding areas
- Restock shelves and maintain inventory levels as needed
- Participate in promotional activities and maintain a positive attitude towards sales and customer engagement
- Verify the age of customers when selling lottery tickets, alcohol, or tobacco products
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience an asset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of productivity
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliability and dependability
Our store is located in a busy shopping district, and public transportation is available. The work environment is fast-paced, and the successful candidate must be able to work under pressure and maintain a high level of productivity.
