Heavy Equipment Technician

Brandt is seeking a skilled Field Heavy Equipment Technician to join our Agriculture Division in Ponoka. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining agricultural equipment, including tractors, hay tools, and other implements.
Key Responsibilities:- Diagnose and repair complex equipment issues, including engine, transmission, electrical, hydraulic, and air conditioning systems.
- Provide on-site support to customers, traveling to their locations as needed to diagnose and repair equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance inspections, including fluid changes, filter replacements, and equipment testing.
- Recondition pre-owned equipment to meet customer standards.
- Accurately record field reports and warranty information for service writers.
- Maintain effective communication with internal support teams to quickly diagnose problems and provide solutions.
- Develop relationships with customers in various Alberta communities, building business and providing exceptional service.
- Heavy Equipment Technician or Agriculture Equipment Technician certification is an asset.
- Previous field tech or road tech experience is a plus.
- Basic to above-average computer skills and a passion for problem-solving are essential.
- Class 5 Driver's License is required.
