Job Description

CB Canada is seeking an experienced Oracle EBS Developer to join our team in the Financial Services sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Documentation: Provide up-to-date technical documentation on the latest enhancements and releases of Oracle EBS.
  • System Configuration: Register developed programs with the Oracle application software to ensure easy accessibility for users.
  • Customer Support: Collaborate with Oracle support services to resolve customer open issues.
Required Skills
  • Design and Development: Ability to design, develop, unit test, and deploy Reports, Interfaces, Customizations, Extensions objects in EBS.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong technical knowledge in developing objects in Oracle applications using SQL and PL/SQL.
  • Reporting: Strong knowledge in developing reports using XML Publisher.
  • Application Knowledge: Strong knowledge of Application Object Library (AOL).
  • Financial Modules: Knowledge/understanding of Oracle EBS Financial modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Payables, Cash Management.
  • Oracle Standards: Familiarity with Oracle suggested standards and approach for delivering EBS work products.
  • Requirements Capture: Ability to understand and capture requirements accurately, demonstrate analytical thinking, conceptualize technical design options, identify the best option, and complete technical design specifications.
  • Self-Motivation: Highly self-motivated and directed, with the ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Solution-Focused: Solution-focused and flexible to adapt to the needs of the business.
  • SQL and PL/SQL: Experience working with SQL and PL/SQL in Oracle E-Business Suit environment.
  • Interfaces and Data Extractions: Experience with interfaces and/or data extractions.
  • AP Module Setup: Basic understanding of AP modules' setups/configuration.
Nice to Have Skills
  • Shell Scripting: Shell Scripting is a plus.
