Position Summary:
This internship offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in a dynamic environment where you can explore, innovate, and grow. You will be part of a diverse group of professionals focused on developing digital solutions that provide value beyond traditional insurance services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in implementing and testing code modifications to address identified software issues and enhance future software releases.
- Engage in troubleshooting software defects and contribute to remediation efforts.
- Collaborate with product management and architects to refine requirements and enhance design processes.
- Participate in the initial phases of projects to develop high-level designs, with a foundational understanding of hardware/software/cloud configurations.
- Support software and systems monitoring, addressing issues that require technical expertise, and assist in configuration tasks.
- Contribute to the automation of deployment processes.
Qualifications:
- Pursuing a degree in artificial intelligence, data science, computer science, mathematics, statistics, or a related discipline.
- Availability for a full-time commitment during the internship period.
- Willingness to work in a hybrid model, with a combination of in-office and remote work.
- Must be returning to academic studies following the internship.
- Experience in data science, machine learning, or deep learning is preferred.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R.
- Familiarity with AWS, Cloud technologies, and Terraform is advantageous.
- Knowledge of SQL and CI/CD practices is a plus.
- Bilingual proficiency in French and English is essential.
