We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team at Roll-On Painting. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality painting services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Surface Preparation: Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted, ensuring a smooth finish.
- Repair and Maintenance: Repair cracks and holes in surfaces, and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure surfaces are in good condition.
- Paint Application: Apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials to interior and exterior surfaces, using a variety of techniques and equipment.
- Estimation and Planning: Estimate costs and materials required for each project, and plan and schedule work to meet deadlines.
- Client Communication: Communicate with clients to understand their needs and preferences, and provide advice on colors and wall coverings.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in painting or a related field.
- Physical Demands: The role requires physical stamina and the ability to work at heights.
- Work Environment: Willingness to relocate for this position.
- Coating/Application Specialization: Experience with dipping and paint spraying techniques.
- Surface Preparation Experience: Experience with drywall taping/patching, steam cleaning, and flame cleaning.
- Personal Suitability: Excellent client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, reliability, and team player qualities.
