We are seeking a highly skilled HSEQ Specialist to join our team at Webber. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and environmental well-being of our employees, clients, and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Project-Level Monitoring and Reporting: Assist the leadership team in monitoring and reporting on project-level health, safety, and environmental performance.
- HSE Leadership: Provide leadership on health, safety, and environmental requirements for the project, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) and Job Safety Analysis (JSA): Assist in developing and conducting JHA and JSA documents to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Incident Investigation and Analysis: Investigate and analyze incidents, determining root causes and contributing factors, and developing and communicating lessons learned.
- HSE Training and Meetings: Assist in developing and conducting HSE training and meetings, ensuring required information is entered into the learning management system.
- Statistical Data Tracking: Assist in tracking required HSE statistical data, using it to plan improvement initiatives and provide relevant and actionable information to operational and HSE leaders.
- Emergency Response: Provide emergency care evaluation and first aid, ensuring injured workers are medically evaluated and treated, if needed, and overseeing case management follow-up.
- Administrative Tasks: Assist in maintaining inventory of HSEQ and first aid supplies, setting up and maintaining HSEQ administrative files, and communicating daily activities to operational and HSE leaders.
- Education and Experience: 2+ years of infrastructure or maintenance industry experience, 1+ year of experience in construction or general industry HSE leadership, and a valid driver's license with an exemplary driving record.
- Skills and Abilities: Ability to influence people and achieve results in a matrix reporting environment, ability to communicate effectively with different audiences, and ability to recognize and risk-rank hazards associated with routine and non-routine tasks.
- Physical Demands: Ability to walk at least one mile in rugged, sloped terrain, lift 35 pounds unassisted, and work in hot and cold environments.
