Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Emergency Procedures: Direct passengers during emergency evacuation procedures, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Logistics and Reporting: Complete logbooks and reports, providing accurate and timely information to management.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with passengers, dispatchers, and other drivers using two-way radio systems.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, ensuring the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Passenger Safety: Ensure children's safety when boarding and leaving buses, and when crossing streets while the bus is stopped.
Requirements
  • Certifications and Licenses: Possess a valid Driver's License and undergo a criminal record check and medical exam.
  • Transportation Documents: Provide a Driver's abstract and a valid driver's license.
  • Personal Qualities: Demonstrate flexibility, good judgement, reliability, and a team player attitude.
