About the Role

As a Backend Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our cloud-based commerce platform. You'll work closely with our cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize features, and collaborate with our engineering teams to implement cutting-edge technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop scalable, efficient, and secure backend systems
  • Collaborate with our engineering teams to implement advanced technology and best practices
  • Work closely with our product teams to identify and prioritize features
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code, adhering to our coding standards and guidelines
  • Participate in daily agile ceremonies and contribute to our engineering practices
Requirements
  • 5+ years of production usage experience with Java
  • Strong knowledge of testing frameworks and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
  • Experience with relational (SQL) and non-relational (NoSQL) databases
  • Proficiency in English and effective communication skills
  • One additional backend language (Python, Go)
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment
