About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at Irene Valdez. As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our residential properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, pick up debris and empty trash containers, launder clothing and household linens, mend clothing and linens, and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Housekeeping: Wash windows, walls, and ceilings, and maintain the overall cleanliness and organization of the property.
  • Support Services: Assist with daily tasks, such as preparing meals, running errands, and providing companionship to our clients.
  • Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with our clients, colleagues, and management team.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and learn on the job.
  • Skills: Excellent oral communication, flexibility, initiative, judgment, organized, reliability, and punctuality.
  • Security and Safety: Ability to pass a criminal record check.
  • Transportation: Travel expenses paid by employer, public transportation available.
