Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing marketing programs and strategies to support assigned fragrance brands in Canada. This includes implementing marketing plans, analyzing feedback and performance of promotional programs, and addressing market opportunities and challenges proactively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute marketing plans and fragrance launches, aligning with timelines and targets
  • Report POS results to management, brand and retailer partners on an ongoing basis
  • Analyze feedback and performance of promotional programs to enhance sales potential
  • Address market opportunities and challenges proactively to maintain competitive positioning
  • Work closely with sales teams to equip merchandising groups and field teams with the tools needed for in-store execution of planogram updates
  • Review and optimize planogram performance to maximize sales for fragrance lines across multiple retailers
  • Influence brand strategies by identifying new product, pricing, and packaging trends, alongside competitive risks tailored to the Canadian fragrance market
  • Communicate key insights from retail, field, and consumer to Management and Brand partners
  • Manage multiple project priorities to ensure fragrance launches stay on track
  • Utilize industry data to identify growth opportunities and mitigate risks within the fragrance category
  • Conduct regular competitive studies and market visits, sharing insights with management, brand partners, and sales teams
  • Document pricing strategies and manage price lists for fragrance retailers
  • Oversee the internal fragrance item creation process
  • Prepare business reviews for management meetings
  • Ensure compliance with all contractual obligations for the assigned fragrance brand(s)
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing preferred
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in Fragrances, CPG or related fields
  • Proficient in MS Office, Smartsheet, and Adobe Suites
  • Strong business acumen and entrepreneurial spirit
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
