We are seeking a skilled Tile Setter to join our team at DAEHAN CONSTRUCTION LTD.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, measuring, and marking surfaces to be covered with tiles. They will mix, apply, and spread mortar, cement, mastic, glue, or other adhesives using a hand trowel. The Tile Setter will set tiles in place, apply pressure to affix them to the base, and align and straighten tiles. Additionally, they will cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power cutting tools. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience in the field and be proficient in working with marble and granite.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare surfaces for tile installation by cleaning, measuring, and marking them.
  • Mix and apply adhesives to secure tiles to the base.
  • Set tiles in place and apply pressure to ensure a secure fit.
  • Align and straighten tiles to ensure a uniform appearance.
  • Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power cutting tools.
  • Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles.
  • Cut, surface, polish, and install marble and granite.
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in tile setting or a related field.
  • Permanent employment.
  • English language proficiency.
  • Ability to work 30-40 hours per week.
