About the Job

Cobrafer Construction Ltd. is seeking a skilled Framing Carpenter to join our team. As a key member of our construction crew, you will be responsible for building foundations, installing floor beams, laying subflooring, and erecting walls and roof systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
  • Fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
Work Environment

You will work in a fast-paced construction environment with varying locations, including commercial, industrial, and residential sites. You will be exposed to heights, confined spaces, noise, and dust.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the field.
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in a physically demanding environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a team environment.
