Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Welder to join our team at J & G Fleet Services Ltd. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in metal fabrication and welding processes.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 to less than 5 years of relevant experience in welding.
Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret and apply welding process specifications effectively.
  • Operate various welding equipment, including manual, semi-automatic, and fully automated systems.
  • Conduct thorough examinations of welds to ensure compliance with established standards and specifications.
  • Utilize manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment as needed.
  • Operate metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines such as brakes and shears.
  • Fit, braze, and torch-straighten metal components.
  • Employ oxygen arc cutting equipment (arc-air) for precision cutting tasks.
  • Assess the weldability of different materials.
  • Handle hoisting and lifting equipment safely.
  • Utilize previously set-up welding machines for the fabrication or repair of metal parts and products.
  • Operate brazing or soldering machines to bond metal or fill seams and indentations.
