Lead Fire Safety Systems Technician

ACAI is actively looking for a Lead Fire Safety Systems Technician to enhance our team. As a recognized dealer in fire protection solutions, ACAI specializes in fire alarm systems, suppression systems, sprinkler systems, extinguishing equipment, hoses, and emergency lighting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate closely with Project Managers to gather essential project details
  • Provide insights on project timelines and progress
  • Support Electrical Contractors during the setup and troubleshooting phases
  • Install and set up electronic components while managing low-voltage field wiring
  • Engage in system design discussions and work alongside team members
  • Conduct inspections, perform repairs, and oversee maintenance tasks while mentoring junior technicians
  • Respond to urgent service requests and participate in the on-call schedule
Required Qualifications:
  • CFAA certification or a background in Electrical/Electronics
  • Familiarity with building regulations and ULC standards
  • Experience with Simplex/JCI programming
  • Capability to lift tools and equipment weighing up to 40 lbs
  • Valid driver's license and excellent communication abilities
