About the Role

Nutrizia Inc. is seeking a skilled Chemical Laboratory Technician to join our team. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for operating laboratory apparatus, assisting in the setup and conduct of chemical experiments, and compiling records for analytical studies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Laboratory Apparatus: Ensure the safe and efficient operation of laboratory equipment, including instruments and machinery.
  • Assist in Chemical Experiments: Support the setup and conduct of chemical experiments, including the preparation of solutions, reagents, and sample formulations.
  • Compile Records: Accurately record and compile data from analytical studies, including experimental results and observations.
  • Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP): Maintain a high level of quality and adherence to GMP guidelines in all laboratory activities.
  • MS Office: Proficient in using MS Office software for data analysis and record-keeping.
  • Assist in Developing Programs: Collaborate with the team to develop programs of sampling and analysis to maintain quality standards.
  • Health and Safety Measures: Assist in the development of health and safety measures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Compile and Interpret Results: Compile and interpret experimental or analytical results, including data analysis and reporting.
  • Design and Fabrication: Assist in the design and fabrication of experimental apparatus, including the development of prototypes and testing.
  • Conduct Safety Training: Conduct safety training programs for laboratory staff, including training on laboratory procedures and equipment.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a laboratory setting.
