About the Role

This Relief role is a hybrid position that requires flexibility to work various shifts. You may be assigned to work on the dock, loading and unloading packages from conveyor belts and trucks, or delivering packages to customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver customer packages to meet daily pick-up and delivery schedules
• Scan packages/mail as it is received, delivered, or returned to the depot at the end of the day
• Resolve problems as they arise while on the road in collaboration with Dispatch and customers
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections using a package scanner and electronic-DVIR
• Unload all curbside vehicles
• Load line haul trailers to ensure all pre-scheduled departures are met
• Scanning/Cubing/Reweighing

Requirements

Education: High School completion and specific vocational courses

Experience: 3 years of driving experience and a clean driver's abstract to drive delivery vehicles

Skills: Domestic Shipping, Courier Services, Shipping and Receiving Operations

Physical Efforts: Physical strength - Lifting/Lowering up to 70 pounds

Sensory Efforts: Watching/Visual attention, Communicate effectively (written and verbal)

Working Conditions: Warehouse Environment; On the Road
