Job Opportunity

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner/Dishwasher to join our team at Carleton University. As a key member of our dining services team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Clean and maintain the dish room, kitchen, and surrounding areas to ensure a safe and healthy environment for our guests.
  • Operate industrial equipment, including floor cleaners and dishwashers, to maintain a high level of cleanliness.
  • Stock dining rooms with clean dishes, cups, and cutlery, and bus dirty dishes to the dish room.
  • Provide excellent customer service to our guests, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve our goals and maintain a positive work environment.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a janitor, cleaner, dishwasher, or utility worker is an asset.
  • Ability to follow direction and work with minimal supervision.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
