Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze data to forecast business decisions and report findings to the Engineering Manager or Engineering Director.
  • Work as the Relationship Manager or Technical Specialist to provide clients with finished projects in a timely manner.
  • Plan or review projects requiring significant manpower and financial investment.
  • Establish operating standards and accomplish objectives in the most economical manner.
  • Understand and participate in resolving issues with cost control, non-recoverable expenditures, and utilization.
  • Communicate effectively with team members.
  • Maintain technical capability, provide technical expertise, and act as a mentor/coach to other teammates.
  • Identify completed projects eligible for technical awards and ensure projects are submitted.
  • Work with Project Managers, Engineering Managers, Relationship Managers, and Directors to secure large multi-company projects.

  • Stay current with changes in our service line.
  • Stamp project design and reports, and provide peer review as appropriate.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Minimum 15 years experience in HVAC consulting.
  • P.Eng. status with appropriate provincial association.
Skills and Capabilities
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to listen well and respect diversity of opinions.
  • Effective organizational and time management skills in handling multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to represent the company to our teammates, clients, and community.
  • Application knowledge of our systems and programs, including MS Office 365, SharePoint, Deltek Vision, AutoCAD, and Revit MEP.
  • Understanding and ability to apply marketplace trends to create and implement a marketing plan.
  • Holds a senior position in a technical or business association.
  • Understands the viability of other service line designs.
