Landscape Labourer Job Description

H J Landscaping Ltd. is seeking a skilled Landscape Labourer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with landscape constructions, including laying sod or seed, planting bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees.
  • Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants to maintain a well-manicured appearance.
  • Cut grass and remove litter and garbage to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
  • Cart and spread topsoil and other materials as needed.
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment, including mowers, trimmers, and other tools.
  • Repair and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens to ensure healthy growth.
Work Environment:

As a Landscape Labourer, you will work in various locations, including private residences and other outdoor settings.

Requirements:
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but a willingness to learn and train is essential.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labour in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week, with flexibility to adapt to changing schedules.
  • Fluency in English is required, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.
