About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Massage Therapist to join our team at Shanti Wellness Centre Inc. as a key member of our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and Treat Clients

Conduct thorough assessments of clients to identify areas of tension and pain, and develop personalized treatment plans to address their needs.

Administer Massage Techniques

Utilize a range of massage techniques, including soft tissue manipulation, relaxation techniques, hydrotherapy, trigger point therapy, and joint mobilizations to promote relaxation and reduce muscle tension.

Communicate Effectively

Communicate clearly and effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences, and to provide them with a safe and comfortable treatment environment.

Maintain a Clean and Safe Environment

Ensure that the treatment area is clean, safe, and well-maintained, and that all equipment and supplies are in good working order.

Requirements
  • Education

College or CEGEP diploma in a related field, such as massage therapy or a related healthcare discipline.

Experience

At least 1 year of experience as a massage therapist, preferably in a clinical or healthcare setting.

Physical Demands

This role requires the ability to stand for extended periods, and to lift and move equipment and supplies as needed.
