Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee quality assurance and control processes
  • Conduct analysis of semi-finished goods
  • Maintain quality programs in line with industry standards and client expectations
  • Perform internal audits and quality inspections
  • Ensure product quality and compliance with safety regulations
  • Lead investigations into foreign body incidents
  • Review production documentation daily
  • Inspect inventory across departments

  • Support compliance with various certifications (SQF, Non-GMO, Organic, Kosher, etc.)

  • Manage equipment transitions to operations
  • Verify and archive production documentation
  • Evaluate product rejects
  • Analyze production counts
  • Perform sanitation inspections
  • Identify products for quality assessment
  • Conduct traceability checks
  • Manage corrective action requests
  • Adhere to deadlines

Qualifications Required:

  • Technical degree in food processing, dietetics, or a related field
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in manufacturing is a plus
  • Background in food processing is advantageous
  • Proficient in French, both spoken and written
  • Strong computer skills in a Windows environment
  • Detail-oriented with a rigorous work ethic
  • Client-focused approach
  • Ability to evaluate situations comprehensively and provide sound recommendations
