About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Massage Therapist to join our team at Olive Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Clinic. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality massage therapy services to our clients, working closely with other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans that meet their unique needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Treatment
    • Conduct thorough assessments of clients to identify areas of tension and pain
    • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to address client needs
    • Administer a range of massage techniques, including soft tissue manipulation, relaxation techniques, and trigger point therapy
  • Client Communication
    • Clearly explain treatment plans and procedures to clients
    • Provide education on self-care techniques and home exercises to promote ongoing wellness
  • Record Keeping and Administration
    • Maintain accurate and detailed records of client treatments and progress
    • Manage client schedules and appointments
Requirements
  • Education and Certification
    • Diploma or degree in Massage Therapy from a recognized institution
    • Certification by a provincial or territorial association for massage therapists
  • Experience and Skills
    • Minimum 1 year of experience in a clinical setting
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
