Key Responsibilities
  • Education Policy and Program Development
    • Assist in the development and implementation of education policies and programs that align with Science North's mission and goals.
    • Collaborate with education staff to design and deliver high-quality educational programs for diverse audiences.
  • Administrative Support
    • Provide administrative support to the education team, including scheduling, data entry, and record-keeping.
    • Assist with the coordination of events, workshops, and other educational programs.
  • Curriculum Evaluation and Improvement
    • Evaluate the effectiveness of education programs and make recommendations for improvement.
    • Collaborate with education staff to develop and implement new curriculum programs.
  • Staff Support and Development
    • Provide support to education staff, including training and professional development opportunities.
    • Assist with the recruitment and hiring of education staff.
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Develop and maintain relationships with education stakeholders, including community partners and educators.
    • Collaborate with other Science North departments to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Education, Curriculum Development, or a related field.
  • Experience
    • 2 years of experience in education program development and implementation.
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
Working Conditions
