About the RoleThis is a key leadership position that will play a critical role in shaping the technical direction of our organization. As a Principal Software Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of complex software systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving innovation in our products and services.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the design and development of software systems, ensuring they meet business requirements and technical standards.
- Collaborate with product management, engineering, and other stakeholders to define technical requirements and architecture.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design documents, and code comments.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, providing technical guidance and support.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement in our products and services.
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong background in cloud computing, architecture, and software development.
- Expert-level proficiency in at least one programming language, such as C#, Java, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience with cloud tools, including Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Microsoft Azure.
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles, including design patterns, testing, and deployment.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with test data management design patterns and implementations in a cloud environment.
- Experience with applying enterprise data management, reference data management, and master data management.
- Understanding of analytic frameworks, AI, machine learning, neural networks, or deep learning techniques to solve business problems.
