Location: Remote

Project Overview

Our client is a leading provider in the entertainment sector across North America. We are in search of experienced Quality Assurance Automation Engineers to evaluate software quality through automated testing methodologies. Your primary responsibility will be to identify and document software defects and inconsistencies. This role requires a meticulous approach and strong communication capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate as a member of the Scrum Team to:
  • Sustain the test automation framework for a comprehensive Unified Client testing team.
  • Configure and manage various testing environments on cloud and on-premise CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ensure pipeline test scripts are current with new tests and troubleshoot existing tests as necessary.
  • Create automation tests based on the backlog.
  • Maintain, execute, and develop new client scoring scripts across all platforms.
  • Establish new Canonical test cases as features are integrated.
  • Conduct performance testing for release candidates, primarily through automation.
  • Develop and uphold performance test automation scripts.
  • Test additional builds as required.
  • Document defects and verify resolutions.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • 3-4+ years of experience in automation scripting using JavaScript.
  • Proficient in writing comprehensive test cases.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong organizational and planning abilities.
  • Experience testing across iOS, Android, and various TV platforms.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Git, JIRA, Bitbucket, and Jenkins.
  • Background in Agile Development methodologies.
  • Development experience with Appium, Selenium, and JavaScript.
  • Knowledge of XCode, Android Studio, Charles Proxy, and ADB logcat.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in client development for iOS/Android and TV platforms is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with New Relic is a plus.
