About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician II to join our team at JLL. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failures and ensure optimal performance
  • Conduct troubleshooting and repair of electrical and mechanical problems related to material handling equipment
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in maintenance and repair

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or higher degree preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in maintenance and repair, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing setting
  • Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical principles, as well as material handling equipment
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's or higher degree in a related field, such as mechanical or electrical engineering
  • 2+ years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role
  • Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
  • Knowledge of industry-specific software and technologies

At JLL, we offer a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $28.00 - $28.25 CAD per year, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.

Location:

This role is based in Sidney, BC, and requires on-site work.
