Security Officer Job Description

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team at Paladin Security. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our industrial site, providing exceptional customer service, and responding to emergency situations.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Provide exceptional customer service and assistance to clients and patrons
* Conduct proactive patrols to ensure safety and address policy breaches
* Attend and investigate security alarms and emergencies in a timely and professional manner
* De-escalate crisis situations, provide support, and liaise with emergency personnel
* Exercise crowd control and evict trespassers
* Write clear and detailed reports, including incident, emergency, liability, and day-to-day reports
* Utilize two-way radios and computer applications to communicate site activities
* Handle Lost & Found items and inquiries

**Requirements:**

* Holding an Alberta Security License, or ability to obtain a valid Alberta Security License
* Class 5 Unrestricted Driver's License
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Excellent customer service skills
* Strong observational skills
* Ability to make immediate decisions while maintaining composure in emergency response situations with minimal supervision
* Ability to walk 18/20km and stairs

**Work Schedule:**

This site will have a 7 on 7 off schedule.
