Job Summary:

The Dispatcher will be responsible for coordinating the movement of trucks and trailers, ensuring timely delivery of goods, and maintaining accurate records of shipments. This is a critical role that requires strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate records of shipments, including tracking numbers and delivery status.
  • Coordinate with drivers and dispatchers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Monitor personnel workloads and locations to optimize dispatch operations.
  • Perform general office duties, including data entry and communication with customers.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Assist with maintenance of communications equipment and ensure that all dispatch systems are functioning properly.
  • Dispatch personnel according to schedules and work orders, and make adjustments as needed to ensure efficient operations.
  • Follow up on issues with work orders and ensure that all problems are resolved in a timely manner.
  • Keep track of shipments and ensure that all goods are delivered on time.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Client focus, organized, and a team player.
