Medication Care Manager

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a highly skilled Medication Care Manager to join our team. As a Medication Care Manager, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and services to our residents by administering medication and treatments in a safe and organized manner.
Key Responsibilities- Administer medications and treatments to residents in accordance with their individualized care plans.
- Document and maintain accurate records of medication administration, including dosages, times, and any adverse reactions.
- Collaborate with the Resident Care Director and Wellness Nurse to ensure accurate and timely medication administration.
- Participate in the development and implementation of individualized care plans for residents.
- Conduct regular assessments of residents to determine their medication needs and make recommendations for changes to their care plans.
- Maintain a safe and organized medication cart and treatment area, ensuring that all medications are properly stored and labeled.
- Participate in training and education programs to stay up-to-date on the latest medication administration techniques and best practices.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; certifications in medication administration and first aid preferred.
- Previous experience working with seniors and administering medications preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to provide high-quality care to residents.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive resident information with discretion.
