Job Title: Finance Analyst

Job Summary:

The Finance Analyst will be responsible for providing financial analysis and reporting to support business decisions. This role will involve evaluating project costs, data reporting and analysis, budgeting and forecasting, and internal controls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize historical and trending data to validate forecast and follow company standards for cost and revenue reporting
  • Show eagerness to learn details of the business to better understand and communicate financial reports and data
  • Support Operations team with decision making by identifying, quantifying, and communicating financial risks and opportunities
  • Manage employee performance using the division of responsibilities, clearly communicate expectations and goals, and provide coaching and radically honest feedback during employee performance reviews
  • Follow and implement proper internal controls, and act as main point of contact for any internal or external financial audits
  • Drive continuous improvement throughout the organization and be a proponent for positive change
  • Earn trust, credibility, and buy-in of processes from Operations team to create better cohesion and clear communication within the organization
  • Display first-rate customer service skills - willing to help with a positive attitude when/where needed, and be helped with gratitude

Qualifications:

  • 5 years business administration, accounting, general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and tax
  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or a related program
  • Experience using SAP is highly desirable
  • Highly skilled in Microsoft Excel
  • Effective communication (both oral and written), organization and interpersonal skills
  • Strong work ethic and eagerness to produce high-quality results
  • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
  • High level of professionalism and standards

  • Regular, reliable attendance
  • Work productively and meet deadlines timely
  • Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment
  • Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies.
  • Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required.
