Job Description

Job Title: Elementary Teacher - Permanent - Rideau IS - 0.2 FTE - English Language Arts

Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified Elementary Teacher to join our team at Rideau IS. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching English Language Arts to students in Grades 7-8.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach English Language Arts to students in Grades 7-8
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of all students
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
  • Communicate with parents and guardians to ensure student success
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities

Requirements:

  • Must have an Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) certification in good standing
  • Required qualifications in Intermediate Education
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
