Key Responsibilities- Procurement and Sourcing: Coordinate activities of personnel engaged in buying, selling, and distributing materials, equipment, machinery, and supplies.
- Budget Planning and Control: Plan and control budget and expenditures to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Team Leadership: Hire, train, direct, and motivate staff to achieve team goals and objectives.
- Purchasing Policies and Procedures: Plan, develop, and implement purchasing policies and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Contract Management: Manage contracts with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality of goods.
- Claims and Inventory Management: Review and process claims against suppliers and oversee the preparation of reports.
- Inventory Organization: Organize and maintain inventory to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Supervision: 1 to 2 people.
- Personal Suitability: Dependability, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, team player, and efficient interpersonal skills.
- Language: English.
- Hours of Work: 30 hours per week.
