About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Purchasing Manager to join our team at Seamax Trading Ltd. as a key member of our supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Procurement and Sourcing: Coordinate activities of personnel engaged in buying, selling, and distributing materials, equipment, machinery, and supplies.
  • Budget Planning and Control: Plan and control budget and expenditures to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Team Leadership: Hire, train, direct, and motivate staff to achieve team goals and objectives.
  • Purchasing Policies and Procedures: Plan, develop, and implement purchasing policies and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Contract Management: Manage contracts with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality of goods.
  • Claims and Inventory Management: Review and process claims against suppliers and oversee the preparation of reports.
  • Inventory Organization: Organize and maintain inventory to ensure efficient use of resources.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Supervision: 1 to 2 people.
  • Personal Suitability: Dependability, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, team player, and efficient interpersonal skills.
Working Conditions
  • Language: English.
  • Hours of Work: 30 hours per week.
