Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personalized service to guests, ensuring that their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Take orders accurately and efficiently, using knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods to make recommendations and answer questions.
  • Deliver food and beverages in a timely and professional manner, ensuring that every guest has a positive experience.
  • Manage cash and credit transactions accurately, handling cash, credit card payments, and making change as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards and protocols.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure seamless service, supporting each other to meet guest needs and exceed expectations.
  • Participate in pre-shift meetings, training sessions, and other activities to stay informed and up-to-date on hotel policies, procedures, and initiatives.
  • Adhere to all hotel policies, procedures, and standards, including those related to safety, security, and guest satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Server in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant or hotel environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, colleagues, and management.
  • Knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods, as well as wine and beverage lists.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, supporting colleagues to meet guest needs and exceed expectations.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends, holidays, and peak periods.
  • Smart Serve training program certification required.
  • OTE certificate an asset.
