About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Pizza Cook to join our team at Family Pizza Humboldt. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality pizzas and other menu items to meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Preparation

Plan and prepare menus, including pizzas, salads, and other menu items, to meet the needs of our customers.

Cooking and Food Preparation

Prepare and cook pizzas and other menu items to a high standard, using fresh ingredients and following established recipes.

Kitchen Management

Manage the kitchen area, including cleaning and maintaining equipment, and ensuring a safe and healthy working environment.

Team Leadership

Supervise and train kitchen staff, including cooks and kitchen assistants, to ensure they are working efficiently and effectively.

Inventory Management

Manage inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, and order new stock as needed.

Customer Service

Provide excellent customer service, including taking orders and serving customers in a friendly and efficient manner.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Experience

7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a kitchen environment.

Personal Qualities

Flexibility, initiative, and a team player attitude.

Working Conditions
  • Work Term

Permanent.

Work Language

English.

Hours

35 to 40 hours per week.
