Daydreamer Outsourcing LLC is seeking a dedicated and skilled Senior Tax Consultant to enhance our expanding Canadian tax division. In this capacity, you will be instrumental in assisting our clients with intricate tax matters while fostering robust relationships and contributing to the team's overall success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and direct the Canadian tax division for a varied clientele, encompassing individual and corporate tax strategy and compliance projects.
  • Deliver comprehensive tax guidance and solutions, which includes reviewing tax returns, preparing in-depth research documentation, and drafting precise tax communications.
  • Cultivate a cooperative and encouraging team atmosphere, mentoring and guiding junior personnel to achieve their utmost potential.
  • Manage client interactions with professionalism and attentiveness, ensuring all client requirements are met and surpassed.
  • Proactively identify and evaluate new tax regulations and laws, applying this expertise to provide timely and precise solutions for clients.
  • Effectively prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring all deadlines are consistently achieved.
  • Supervise production and billing workflows, enhancing efficiency and profitability.
  • Engage in firm-wide initiatives, contributing to strategic growth and advancement.
  • Maintain the highest standards of client service and quality assurance by promoting and executing best practices within the firm.

Required Qualifications:

  • CPA designation with extensive experience in Canadian tax compliance and strategy.
  • Completion of the CPA In-Depth Tax Course or its equivalent.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, capable of articulating complex tax concepts to varied audiences.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities with the talent to inspire and mentor team members.
  • Sound professional judgment and robust decision-making skills.
  • Excellent client relationship management and advisory skills, building trust and exceeding expectations.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to precision.
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant professional standards and Canadian tax laws.
  • Proactive, self-driven, and results-oriented.
