Your Role

As a Civil Engineering Technologist, you will collaborate closely with the Civil Engineering team.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Consistently implementing established technical procedures, safe work practices, and work plans in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all relevant regulatory requirements and contract specifications.
  • Producing deliverable documentation such as technical reports, site assessments, letters, summaries, data sheets, graphs, and qualification packages.
  • Regularly interacting with contractors and subcontractors, including presenting and discussing project outcomes with teams.
  • Assisting engineers and project managers throughout all phases of project execution.
  • Conducting site assessments, collecting data, and preparing reports under the guidance of the project manager, focusing on structural, building envelope, and roofing components.
  • Supporting the generation of deliverable documentation (e.g., drawings and specifications) for structural, building envelope, and roofing projects, ensuring accuracy in calculations and completeness of data.
  • Providing design sketches and coordinating efforts with other engineering departments during the design development phase.
  • Promoting and adhering to Englobe's health and safety regulations.
Your Qualifications
  • 0 – 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Registered or eligible for registration with Technology Professionals Saskatchewan (TPSK).
  • A solid foundation or interest in Water Resource, Municipal, and/or Transportation sectors.
  • Experience with Civil3D and AutoCAD is advantageous.
  • Surveying experience is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Aptitude for general construction methods.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
  • Willingness to work in the field for extended periods.
  • Consideration will be given to candidates with intermediate experience (5–10 years).
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license.
  • Demonstrated awareness and consideration for occupational health and safety.
