Your Role as a Landscape and Maintenance Technician:
- Perform landscaping tasks such as mowing, edging, mulching, and garden care, along with snow removal duties.
- Engage in planting, transplanting, and upkeep of flower and shrub beds.
- Install, manage, and maintain irrigation systems.
- Carry out various responsibilities, including trash collection and removal in shared spaces.
- Address scheduled and urgent maintenance requests, resolving issues within your expertise promptly.
- Refer unresolved tasks to appropriate personnel.
- Participate in project work within your skill set, including installations and modifications.
- Support team members with maintenance and project tasks as needed.
- Adhere to departmental standards to ensure quality and performance targets are met.
- Follow safety protocols and company policies diligently.
- Operate maintenance machinery as required.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned.
Is This Position Right for You?
- Previous experience in landscaping or arboriculture is advantageous.
- Ability to execute various maintenance tasks relevant to your skills.
- Willingness to work shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with some shifts lasting up to 12 hours.
- Capable of gathering information, assessing situations accurately, and seeking guidance when necessary.
- A collaborative team player with a strong focus on customer service and performance delivery.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and establish effective working relationships with diverse individuals.
- Competent in working independently with minimal supervision.
- Comfortable using computer applications and maintenance management systems for monitoring purposes.
- Possession of a valid driver's license is required.
- Familiarity with Agility software is a plus.
